Lindsay Fincher Wins Prestigious Pageant

Birmingham, AL - July 2nd, 2022

Lindsay Fincher, a 22-year-old University of Alabama student from Wedowee, Alabama, was crowned Miss Alabama 2022 on Saturday night at the Wright Center Auditorium on Samford University's campus. Fincher was selected from a group of 40 candidates from across the state who competed in categories such as talent, evening wear, and interview.

As Miss Alabama, Fincher will represent the state at the Miss America 2023 pageant in December. She is a talented vocalist who performed "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for her talent competition. Fincher is also an advocate for mental health awareness and serves as the national chair of the Miss America Organization's "Realness" campaign.
