Netflix Reveals Most-Watched Shows – and They Are British

Stranger Things and The Witcher are among the most successful Netflix series in the United Kingdom.

However, Netflix has now published a list of its most popular programs in the UK, and UK shows have taken four of the top five spots.

The first is Bridgerton, a romance series set in Regency England. The Crown, a historical drama about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, is in second place. The third and fourth places are Luther, a crime drama starring Idris Elba, and Sex Education, a comedy series about teenagers growing up.

Stranger Things, the American sci-fi horror series, is the only non-British show to make it into the top five. However, British shows take seven of the top 10 places, with The Witcher, Top Boy, and After Life also featuring.

The data shows that British shows are now a major force on Netflix, and they are likely to continue to be popular in the future. This is good news for the UK creative industries, as it shows that there is a strong demand for British content around the world.
